Photofacial

To enhance the improvements of your skin complexion, we combine Celluma LED Light Therapy with our HydraFacials. While the facial cleanses and hydrates the skin, the LED light penetrates deeper into the skin to encourage collagen production.

Did you know…

Different LED colors work in different ways on the skin. Our therapy uses two lights, the red and the blue LED lights to improve your complexion. The red LED light reaches deeper into the skin and stimulates the production of collagen, which is the key protein in keeping your skin healthy and young. The Blue LED light works in the upper layer of the skin to kill acne-causing bacteria.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the Photofacial performed?

Your PhotoFacial will be like any other HydraFacials we offer in the office–check the HydraFacials page for more information–but the Celluma LED Light Therapy will be included as an additional step. In between the HydraFacial cleansing and hydrating steps, your esthetician will cover your eyes with a soft cotton gauze to protect them from the LED light. Then, the Celluma LED light device will be placed over your entire face, and your therapy will begin. You may feel some warmth from the LED lights on your face. Once the session is over, the device will be removed and the esthetician will continue with your HydraFacial treatment.

Does the LED light therapy hurt?

No, the LED light is non-invasive and should not be painful. If you feel any burning sensation or pain, let your esthetician know immediately.

If you struggle with acne or want an additional anti-aging treatment during your HydraFacial session, the PhotoFacial may be right for you.
