Insurances, intake process, etc… The prep for a medical visit can be quite involved and confusing. Below is some important information to help ease the process. If you cannot find what you are looking for, please feel free to call or email us. We will be happy to answer any of your questions!
We accept most commercial insurances. Please visit our accepted insurances page or call our office directly at (516)-246-8800 to check if your insurance is accepted.
To verify if we accept your specific insurance, we may ask for a photo of the front and back of your insurance card through our secure portal.
Yes! Our providers see both adult and pediatric patients of all ages and skin types.
Please make a list or take a photo of any prescriptions and/or over-the-counter topicals (creams, shampoos, washes, etc…) currently using or previously used. Or just bring them in.
Monitoring your skin can be difficult to do on your own, especially if you have multiple moles or if you need to check your back. You may have a spot on your back that’s growing or changing in color without you knowing! Visiting a dermatologist can help detect any irregularities on your skin, hair, and nails early on, and prevent serious conditions. Your provider can also recommend skincare products and lifestyle modifications to keep your skin healthy.
Our priority is to keep our patients and staff safe from COVID-19. Borealis Dermatology has implemented protocols based on the latest local, state and federal guidelines. We appreciate your cooperation with helping us help our patients.
Please visit the CDC website for the most current guidelines.
Our goal is to help diagnose and treat your dermatologic issues in an efficient, caring manner.
