Wrinkle-Relaxing Injections (Neuromodulators)

Wrinkle-relaxing injections for selected expression lines, with treatment planned around facial movement, anatomy and your goals.

← Cosmetics and Aesthetics

Wrinkle-relaxing injections should soften selected lines without taking away the expressions that make you look like yourself.

We look at how your face moves at rest and in expression, then use the smallest thoughtful amount needed for your goals.

The aim is refreshed and balanced—not frozen.

Recovery & Results

Daily activities: Usually the same day.
Visible recovery: Brief injection marks; bruising may last longer.
Results: Begin within days; assess at about two weeks. Timing varies by product.

Cosmetic Neurotoxins

Botulinum toxin injections temporarily reduce signaling between nerves and selected muscles. In aesthetic dermatology, this can soften dynamic lines caused by repeated facial movement while preserving a natural expression when treatment is carefully planned.

Common treatment areas

  • Frown lines between the eyebrows
  • Forehead lines
  • Crow’s feet
  • Selected lower-face and neck concerns when appropriate

Which products are available?

Botulinum toxin type A products differ in formulation, dosing units, onset and duration. Products may include Botox Cosmetic, Xeomin and Daxxify depending on current availability. Your provider will select a product and dose based on anatomy, muscle activity, treatment goals, prior response and preference.

When do results appear?

Improvement usually begins within several days and continues to develop over the following one to two weeks. Duration varies among patients and products. Many treatments last several months, while some formulations may last longer in selected patients.

What are the risks?

Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, headache, or tenderness can occur. Depending on the treatment area, temporary eyelid or brow droop, asymmetry, or weakness of nearby muscles is possible. Tell your provider about pregnancy, breastfeeding, neuromuscular conditions, prior reactions, and all medications or supplements before treatment.
