Dr. Navin S. Arora
Dr. Arora is the founder of Borealis Dermatology. Borealis Dermatology is the product of over 15 years’ experience. Dr. Arora has extensive professional experience within a wide range of roles at the clinical and leadership levels within the Department of Defense (DOD) and private sector. Previous healthcare experience ranges from the federal level, nonprofit integrated health care systems, along with private equity and non-private equity-owned practices. At the federal level alone, Dr. Arora has provided care at Level I (most basic), II, III, and IV at various DOD facilities around the world. Dr. Arora’s hierarchical positions have ranged from the Associate level to Department Chief.
Dr. Arora has extensive dermatologic experience in treating a wide range of skin diseases in all ethnicities. He proudly served as an Army physician for twelve years. The wide range of patient ages, constant geographic changes (Army moves), ethnic diversity, and extensive medical DOD formulary, has allowed Dr. Arora to develop and refine his ability to diagnose, treat, and provide appropriate follow-up or referrals for mild and severe diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. As a result, Dr. Arora finds himself being a second opinion or treating more complicated cases.
Dr. Arora is enjoys treating children of all ages. As a father of three, he understands the concern one can have as a parent/caregiver.
Throughout his academic and professional career, Dr. Arora authored numerous articles in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. In addition, he is Clinical Assistant Professor, Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where he lectures and volunteers to teach dermatology residents.
